What we receive. Information you give us when you request our services, such as your name, email and phone number, and what you type to Disa, our AI assistant. We also retain the agreement you submit, your electronic signature and authorizations for corrections. Contact details and signatures from these forms are not sent to the AI provider. Our website may use basic cookies.
How we use it. Only to help you, provide your tax service and keep you updated on your case. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.
Who we share it with. Only those who help us provide the service, such as our tax software, client portal and AI provider (Anthropic); tax agencies when you authorize us to file your return; or when required by law.
Disa. Disa is an AI assistant, not a person, and can make mistakes. Use it only for general questions. Do not type your SSN, ITIN, date of birth, address, passwords or bank details.
Documents. Send documents and sensitive information only through the secure method we will give you, never by chat or email.

How long we keep your information. We keep the information you voluntarily provide (such as your name, email and phone number) for up to three years after our last contact. If you become a client, we keep your information for up to seven years after the last return we prepare, as our professional obligations require.
You may ask us by email to delete your information. When we complete your request, we will keep for seven years only a confidential internal record with a reference number, your name, a protected version of your email and phone number from which the original details cannot be recovered, the last four digits of your phone number, and the dates of your request and its completion. This record lets us show that we honored your request and keeps us from contacting you again without your permission.
Separately, we will keep any information the law requires us to retain, for as long as the law requires.
Starting your service online
When you select Continue to the agreement, we save your first and last names, email and mobile number, even if you do not submit the agreement. We record the onboarding steps used, including the direct form when Disa is unavailable, so DMC can follow up. These contact and activity records expire after 30 days; signed agreements are kept separately under the retention terms above. The signed agreement includes your confirmed details, consent, typed signature and recorded dates. When personalized account setup is enabled, your confirmation email includes a time-limited, one-use link to create Mi Espacio access. MyTaxOffice access is separate. Contact details, signatures and account passwords entered in these forms are not sent to the AI provider.
